Finance & Investment session, Samarkand, 19 October 2026

On 19 October 2026 Samarkand hosted the business program of the C5+1 Central Asia – United States ministerial meeting and the session of the U.S.–Uzbekistan Business Council.

The events were organized by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Invest Uzbekistan, the American-Uzbek Business and Investment Council and the U.S. Department of State.

Hemp Farm took part in the Agriculture and Textile industry session and in the Finance and Investment session — a matchmaking format built around direct talks between regional companies and international investors, manufacturers and trading houses.

The company presented its full-cycle cluster in the Kiziltepa district of the Navoi Region: 1,015 hectares of its own land, more than 350 hectares of it in production, two harvests a year, and complete on-site processing — water retting, decortication, fiber cottonizing and pressing pallets from hurd. Every stage from stalk to finished material is run in-house.

Discussions covered four areas: cottonized fiber for regional textile mills; pallets and board materials from hurd for logistics and construction; irrigation and digital field-control technologies for the planned expansion of plantings; and equity participation and export trade finance.

From 2027 Hemp Farm begins contract farming: the company supplies seed, agronomy and a guaranteed offtake, extending the cluster's raw-material base beyond its own fields.

The contacts made in Samarkand have moved into working negotiations. The company is open to supply agreements, joint projects and partner visits to the site in Kiziltepa.
